Hanmeng (Harmony) Zhan

I am an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

I am interested in algebraic graph theory, with applications to quantum information and quantum computation. More specific areas include discrete quantum walks, continuous quantum walks, graph spectra, association schemes, orthogonal polynomials, and equiangular lines.

Here is my CV.

I obtained my Ph.D. in the Department of Combinatorics and Optimization at the University of Waterloo, supervised by Chris Godsil. We wrote a book on Discrete Quantum Walks on Graphs and Digraphs:

I was a postdoc fellow with Bojan Mohar in the Department of Mathematics at Simon Fraser University; a York Science Fellow with Ada Chan in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at York University; and a postdoc fellow with Luc Vinet in the Centre de Recherches Mathématiques at the Université de Montréal.
